Nestled amid the rolling hills of agriculturally-rich northern Lancaster County, Downtown Ephrata is a quaint blend of old and new. Cars and buses share its wide, modern Main Street with the clopping hooves of the horse-drawn buggies of the area's Mennonite and Amish neighbors.

Rustic shops and cafes, many housed in buildings dating back 100 or more years, line a uniquely early 20th century streetscape of "brick" sidewalks and old-fashioned lamp poles.
